Born to her Bowling ball driller father and Pro-bowler mother, Nawa is a thoroughbred in the ten pin bowling world. She began to bowl seriously at around 15 years of age, and as a member of the bowling team at Kokugakuin Daigaku、 was selected for the national team from her second to fourth years as, and participated in overseas competitions as well.

After passing her Pro Test in 2002, she worked in the offices of her University while continuing to be active as a professional bowler, but now is focusing solely on her bowling.

In 2004, she won her first championship at the ladies rookie tournament. In 2006, she also made the perfect score of 300 for the first time, won the P*league Second Tournament and Nawa’s popularity, as a bowler blessed with both looks and talent, is increasing rapidly.
