Established the new genre “3D Music”, Katsuyuki Seto is widely recognized as the world’s first successful 3D sound designer who produces “the space” by his unique sound technique. Utilizing the 360 degree audio range, you will experience his “3D Music” fulfilled with so much energy and liveliness. His sound evokes a vivid image as well as his interpretation of the world through stimulating the auditory sense, and the distinctive style is called “The movie without images”.
In 2002, he founded his own private studio that specialized in 5.1ch surround, and reopened in April 2004 solely for making his 3D music. With his most-advanced production environment, as a producer he covers various musical fields such as soundtrack production, mixing, and sound direction. He occasionally appears on the stage as an artist and plays his 3D music in front of the audience as well. He is considered one of the most successful pioneers in this field who leads today’s contemporary musical scene.

2002	Founded private studio “studio ALLENS PARADE”.　Established his own concept of 5.1ch surround system as an acoustic space which was considered uncommon in the traditional sound making, he pursued its potential. He also started his own career as a sound creator.
2004	Studied recording, mixing, and PA techniques at TOHO GAKUEN Sound Technology College.
2005	Organized the world’s first outdoor surround music event “AREA 5.1”. Constructed the 5.1ch surround system in the outdoor space and produced the music played by MIDI, acoustic instruments, and voice.
2006	With his success,“studio ALLENS PARADE” evolved to “studio SpaceLab”. Besides offering the high quality surround music, he started the space producing for the places like apparel shops, chapels, clubs, and restaurant/bars with utilizing both sounds and equipments.
2008	Performed as a sound producer of the event “avex Dance Master Vol.2” at the biggest club in Japan. The collaboration of 3D Music and the dance performance attracted people’s attention as a new entertainment.
2010	Completed reconstruction of “studio SpaceLab”. Pursuing the quality and possibility of 3D music, Seto tries to accommodate the needs of future musical scene.
